Card Sets & Mini‑Collections

One of the best parts of this hobby is that there are countless ways to collect. There’s no single “right” approach, no perfect roadmap—just whatever path keeps you excited to flip through your cards again.

People always say you should “pick a lane,” but I’ve never been great at staying in one. I’m drawn to all kinds of cards, and these sets show a few of the lanes I’ve wandered into. In the end, you have to collect what you genuinely enjoy. That’s where the real fun is—assuming you find any joy in this hobby at all.

These sets and mini‑collections come straight from my own shelves. Some are players and designs I grew up with, saved carefully over the years. Others are things I’ve rediscovered or picked up recently as I found my way back into collecting. I’ve always loved bright, colorful cards with oddball designs, and I’m a sucker for those full‑bleed, borderless photos that started showing up as the hobby evolved.
